ResponderBorrarA: I do not consider myself addicted to literature since I feel that in my high school stage nobody cultivated my reading habit and I lost interest in it.

A: I think it is important to create the habit of reading since you are a child as it provides many benefits such as those mentioned in the video.
The video describes the benefits we obtain from literature fist it describes it as a time saver cause it give us access to events that will take a whole life to experience them , it is a time machine , gives us keys to open up to a whole word,makes ud travel around continents only using our imagination .
Also show us things from others points of view , we can identify ourselves with feelings , characters and places described in a piece of writing .
It also prepares us for failure cause a lot of literature is about it .
As a conclusion the video shows that literature deserves to be treat as a therapy and don't treat it just as something we do for entertainment or distraction , we should appreciate it as our doctor and to take into account all the benefits that come within .

I am neither a big fan nor a person who just read social networks. Depending on the kind of literature I will say that I love literature or I hate it, we will say that we love something when we are identify with some aspects that catch our attention, for example I really like romantic novels, science fiction and comedies and then I can say that I love literature. In the other hand, if you ask me to read historical literature, political literature or something like that I will say that I hate literature. So I think that depending in what we like we will say that we like or dislike literature.

• There are many techniques that we can use at the moment that we have to read something to have an efficient and comprehensive lecture.
• Sometimes we will find texts that test our reading abilities and we will think that we are not good as we thought. This happen because there are some aspects that makes a text difficult to read like the vocabulary or the language.
• I have learned that we can encourage students to read more and enrich their vocabulary through different dynamic activities.

We have been underappreciating the powers of literature. When we read something we are learning more about things that we probably we will not experiment in our entire life like, living the life of another person in a single month or as long as we finish reading a book and while we are reading, we feel as if we were the protagonist of the book. Also, literature teaches or prevents us about the possible consequences of our acts through an unlimited variety of examples of failure and that failure becomes an amazing source of inspiration to create good pieces of poem, stories and even songs.

We must teach literature at all levels because it is a powerful tool that allows students to have a wide view of the world and the different points of view. Also, it is important to encourage them to read at all time in order to let them know that reading will help them to achieve all their goals.

ResponderBorrarI am a big fan of literature whose main author’s purpose is to teach or persuade, since I love reading books or articles of personal growth, history and general information about any subject. I would say, I’m not a fan of poem, novels, or books whose chief purpose is just to entertain, I read them though when I have to.

- If you want to become a teacher of literature, you have to be a fan of literature first.
- You can use liteature as a resource to teach Grammar, Spelling, Phonics, Science and Writing. You just need to do to the right adaptations.
- Literature is a Pandora’s box. Words in literature are a living thing. As teachers, we have to lead our students to develop the sense of reading and experience the feelings, emotions and believes involved in it.

Literature is the best “reality simulator”, it is a time machine, since through reading you can experience things from any millenium, century and decade, and from any context-political situation, rupture, wars, crimes, among other things- that you would never be able to live. Even when it appears to be time-consuming, Literature is the best time saver.
Literature makes you empathetic. You can see things from the point of view and perspective of someone else. If you have a good attitude, it makes you a better person, teaches you values and shows you what is really important since literature can stand against the commercialized, classist and dominant value system that awards money and power.
Literature is a cure for loneliness, understands you and can make you feel identified with it. The autor finds the most suitable words to describe your personality, what you are going through even when it might seem to be weird to others.
Literature can play a magnificent role and save our lives, since it prepares us for raising from failure we have made mistakes. We can find in it biographies of people who have appearently failed 1000 times, but in the 1001st attempt they succeeded.

We must teach literature at all levels for a variety of reasons:
-Studying requires reading books. If students do not know how to read and analyze, they won’t be able to study.
-Students should awaken their sense of reading every since early ages for them to acquire a habit that will facilitate their learning.
- Literature promotes self-taught students who are not relying on the teacher only, instead they are independent learners.
- Literature develops a reader’s imagination, creativity, critical thinking, among other competences.
- Literature is a good exercise that stimulates a student intelectually.
- Literature increases a student's vocabulary.
- All the reason described in the previous answer-It is a time machine, makes you empathetic, helps you to know and accept yourself better, and prepares you to rise from failure.

ResponderBorrarSincerely before taking classes about literature I thought that it was very boring,and it had complicated meaning. I always loved reading children´s stories , but Now I have learned that reading literature can help you to learn about a variety of important thing that will help you to improve your general knowledge. Now I am very motivated to enter in the wonderful world of literature.

This video is so interesting because It shows us that literature is not only for getting more lexical items if not it can help us to increase our knowledge about different cultures around the world, helps us to know about people who have made a difference with their bravery as well as people who have been cruel, makes us experience many things that we have not lived. It teaches us to look and understand the world otherwise it helps us to be more mature people and makes us reflect on our way of acting, in addition literature is a good alternative to spend our free time learning many interesting things.

No matter the level that a student has the use of literature in teaching is very important because as mentioned above it helps us immensely to develop not only the ability to read but helps us to develop a more critical thinking. ResponderBorrarI'm a big fan of literature depending my purpose I will choose the book, I love to read because reading allow me to enter into new worlds and new lives. I can be in Middle Earth or in Scotland. I can be a girl learning to be a princess or I can be a girl lost in the wilderness . I can enter these worlds and see them through the eyes of the characters any time and it’s never boring. When you read it increases you vocabulary and you sound smarter.
Reading is fun and enjoyable see other point of views. For another hand books contain useful and important information. You can learn things in fiction as easily as you can learn things from school books and non-fiction literature.

I think this video can help us when we have a lack in literature because it show us the importance of it and that different ways that we read, also it shows the benefits that the literature has in our life. Literature means escapism, entertainment, literature could be our friend, teacher, and the way that we can learn about fails, love, emotions and another things, as I said before we can live through different characters and know different points of view.

I think we need to teach literature in all levels and create good habits of reading, it allows students to complex themes and fresh also literature can provide students with access to the culture of the people whose language they are studying.

maybe "A big fan" of literature is not the exactly description for me but, since i were a child i used to read stories and till now i love to read articles, biographies , history and readings that has to do with discovering things rather than fictional literature.

1. Honestly I am not a big fan of literature. Due to my habits I have never read more than 4 books per year it makes me not to be a big fan of literature. Since I started my Studies at University I read more than 4 books per year but it is not because I want it, but because I must if I want to pass my literature classes. I have to recognize that once I start reading I get imersed in the reading, it means that I enjoy that but my real problem is that I am not used to take a book by myself and read it. Althought, I have to mention that books about theories and methods and all that related to language teaching I really like them.

That is the reason why you often feel identified with certain readings.
4) It prepares you to failiure; some times you may face difficult situations in which you fail them because of difderent reasons. But if you read literature you'll realize that in there many people have failed as well. But thanks to that you'll know how to stand up and start again no matter what.
4) We must teach literature to all the levels because literature is for everybody as I wrote before. There is literature for children, for teenagers, for young adults, for adults etc. Therefore, the level of language is different as well, so, the more advance language you read the more advance reader and writer you'll become.

Of course, I like to read but I get more interested on that specific type of literature that I really like for example romantic stories or about mystery.i like to immerse myself in the deepest of my imagination, I start reading a story then I want to know what happened later up to the end. Literature provide us pleasure, it is relaxing scape from daily events.

I have learned many things such as: techniques, approaches etc.. But more than that i feel glad because i am learning many thing from my amiable classmates.

Sometimes, we underestimate the habit of reading and literature as well. But, literature is more than that, literature is about knowledge that help us to live and die full of wisdom and sanity.
Because of that reason, literature deserves to be considered with prestige. Literature give us the strength and will power to consolidate our minds. It is important to raise the habit of reading and writing in learners. WE as teachers should read methodically transmit all taken knowledge to our students. In that way our day by day in classrooms will be easy and, at the same time, we will see the positive difference.

ResponderBorrar1) I do not consider myself a big fan of literature. Actually, I used to think that literature was boring. A year ago I had never read a complete book but one day I felt very sad but I do not like to tell the people the way I feel, so I looked for a book in order to find the correct words to describe the way I was feeling or maybe someone telling me by that words I was not alone and I found it and was amazing how reading that book helped me to pass throgh that situation (the video talks about this). Nowadays I read the more I can because I have realized that reading is not boring.

1- I do not think I am a big fan of literature because I do not spend too much time Reading books of it, I have read very interesting books of literature in some classes because it was a requirement for the class, and liked those readings but I haven’t read enough of them. That’s why I can say I am not a fan of literature.

3- About the video we don’t take literature as a part of our lives which is very interesting because literature lead us to be part of it by reading it only, trough literature we can transport to a different season, decade or even a different world, we can enjoy, we can fall in love we can have different feelings or emotions just by reading literature, and also literature gives us the opportunity to understand what the writer tells us and we can interpret it in different perspectives or opinions and encourage us to be more critical.
4- We must teach literature at all levels because it helps students to enrich their knowledge and also literature provides students a wide range of vocabulary to discuss complex things to understand the world, and also to socialize to feel, to think different and being more critical.

ResponderBorrarI admire the literature but i am not nearly a big fan because i have read many books and many of them were amazing but I am pretty sure I wouldn’t read them again because I am kind of lazy reader and the books that I have finished I read them all maybe because the story was too engaging, not for a self-desire to read it.

I have learn what is Literature, I learned how to create speciation or how to make the student to speculate, and I learned many techniques and activities to make the reading more entertaining.

The video try to explain us the relevance of literature in our lives and contradicting all our excuses that we made up to not read. It give us all the reason why is so important read even thou we have no time, or maybe we are occupied doing something else, and tell us how literature has help us to advance as humans and how it will help us to be better people also we most give literature the please that really deserves and be away from commercial literature that doesn’t let any growing in our souls.

Literature is an incredible tool to improve in our children fluency, vocabulary, speech, grammar, critical thinking and more important of all this (in my opinion) the imagination because the dreams are the reason why humanity has advanced and without imagination there is no way to dream and without dreams how the children and youngster will change the future? ResponderBorrar• Is a big question, of course and mention that for our Honduras culture we were not taught in school and it is for them that we do not like to do it. But it has to be something really very interesting and that has to draw my attention so that I can read; or that has to evaluate me as in this class that is quite reading.

• Critical thinking
• To discard that we must teach under the standards of quality so that our future pupils learn to love literature and that it is not a kind of ugly and the class they hate.
• Motivate students to be lovers of reading with the different techniques we have learned, never use the traditional. Innovation must be a powerful tool in our lives as teachers.

• The video express the power of the literature, and the difficulties and teaches or prevents us about the possible consequences of our acts through unlimited, and literature change, creative, emotions, feeling.
4. Why must we teach Literature at all levels?
• Literature exposes students to complex themes and fresh, unexpected uses of language. A good novel or short story can take the students to foreign countries and fantastic worlds. A play or a poem can bring up certain dilemmas and powerful emotional responses. All this can be transposed to their real lives.
• Literature teaching in the language classroom is whether literature language is somehow different from other forms of discourse in that it breaks the more usual rules of syntax, collocation and even cohesion.
